We provide an exciting and positive alternative to traditional senior schooling, with a HSC course designed to engage students with their learning, and empower them to achieve personal growth and success during and beyond school.

Selection into SEDA College is not dependent on skill and students of all skill levels may apply.
SEDA College classes are structured to be delivered in an applied learning setting. Students complete their senior secondary certificate, alongside VET qualifications in the areas of sport and recreation, via a hands-on curriculum. Students’ curriculum includes activities based in the classroom, the workplace and the community.
Students travel to the program via public transport. The SEDA College program aims to develop students’ independence, confidence and time management skills and independent travel is part of this self-development.
No, all students leave their current school to attend SEDA College programs. SEDA College is a registered independent co-educational senior secondary school.
Upon successful completion of the two years at SEDA College, students will achieve the following qualifications: HSC, Certificate II in Business Services, Certificate III in Sport and Recreation, First Aid Certificate including CPR, Sport specific coaching qualifications.
Selection into SEDA College’s Sport Development Programs are not dependent on skill and students of all skill levels may apply and participate in the program.
Students are responsible for sourcing their own work placement. However, SEDA College staff will provide students with key information around workplace skills and tips on securing a placement as well as assist students with their search as required. Students may complete their placement in sport and recreation industries or in other industries if they choose.
