Partner Opportunities

Coaching Qualifications

All students in our South Sydney Rabbitohs NSW HSC Program complete a course in Foundation Coaching and Refereeing.

In addition to coaching qualifications, our partnerships with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares mean students have opportunities to be involved in a range of NRL programs and events, including:

  • Delivering rugby league clinics in primary schools through Souths Cares and the South Sydney Rabbitohs
  • School and community visits in conjunction with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares
  • Coaching and officiating school and community rugby league competitions
  • Volunteering for match day assistance at South Sydney Rabbitohs games, including fan engagement activities
  • Work placement opportunities across a variety of departments with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares, including game development, administration, events and fan development
  • Opportunities to be selected to attend week-long trips to deliver regional primary school clinics with Souths Cares

We are proud to partner with the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Souths Cares. Our rugby league partners make it possible for our students to have unparalleled opportunities to develop and participate in the sports industry while completing their HSC. The Rabbitohs’ industry-leading outreach programs increase sports participation and engagement across NSW, leading to great outcomes for our students and the wider community.

“Partnering with the Souths’ program at SEDA College was one of the best decisions I’ve made so far in my life. I have developed numerous skills and connections and gained so much experience I truly believe I could not have gained at any other school.

Souths clinics allowed me to improve my ability to lead a group and effectively communicate with a range of people including children and industry professionals. I am very grateful for the opportunities that the Rabbitohs have given me and I recommend the program to anyone who loves the sporting environment.”
