Do you love basketball? Whether you’re a player, a referee, or just love the sport, our Hoops Capital HSC Program is just what you’ve been looking for.
Our partnerships with Hoops Capital and Basketball NSW let you finish your HSC while you learn about the sporting industry and connect with elite clubs like the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames. Make your final years of school exciting and develop transferable personal and professional skills that will set you ahead of the pack once you finish.
Because our program integrates the HSC with Vocational Education and Training (VET), when you graduate from SEDA College NSW you receive more than just your HSC. You’ll graduate with valuable post-secondary qualifications that set you apart from graduates at other schools.
Our students complete their HSC differently, but they do still need to study! These are the subjects that are completed during Years 11 and 12.

“I was fortunate to complete over 70 hours of work placement at Basketball NSW. I was really surprised by how much goes on behind the scenes to get games up and running for associations, especially managing all the COVID restrictions this year.
Working with the coaching department really helped develop my critical thinking skills and it was interesting to learn about the resources available to coaches and how they are utilized. As a player I now have a greater appreciation of the planning that occurs behind the scenes when I am on the court.”
