“I was able to volunteer with AFL NSW/ACT and gain experience at a number of events including the Paul Kelly Cup. What I enjoyed most was working with the AFL NSW/ACT staff, who were extremely welcoming and helpful, making me feel comfortable and confident throughout the day.

At the event I also was given the opportunity to do some talent scouting as part of the AFL NSW/ACT Future Starts program. It gave me a sense of pride seeing the kids’ faces light up when I gave them the invitation and really showed me how rewarding a job like this could be.”Amelia
