Events at SEDA College
We host a number of events throughout the year to help prospective families get a better understanding of what we offer at our College. Attending an event with SEDA is also an essential part of our admissions process, so by registering you will take your first step towards enrolment with us!
We offer two different types of events, allowing families to find out what it’s like to be a SEDA student in a way that works best for them.
Virtual Information Sessions
We know you want a school that’s a good fit for your child and you will have lots of questions about how SEDA College works. At an Information Session our Principal, Kate, will run you through exactly what makes SEDA different and what to expect if you enrol. We have teaching staff, current students and graduates on the call as well, who will tell you a bit more about the program. There is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have that aren’t answered during the session.
The event is run virtually via Zoom, making it easier than ever before to attend. Sessions run for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and we recommend that prospective students attend with a parent or carer.
Open Days are a great way for students to get a feel for how our classes operate so that they can be confident in their decision to complete their HSC with us. These events take place on our campuses and each family group will be paired with a current SEDA student as a guide who can answer any questions you have in an informal setting.
You’ll get a full tour of our campus and facilities and have the opportunity to see our classes in action. We also run short Information Sessions for any families that haven’t had a chance to attend a Virtual Information Session yet. It’s a great way for families to get a better idea of what life is like as a SEDA student.
