Scholarships

SEDA College NSW has an ongoing commitment to supporting promising young people and is fortunate to be able to offer a limited number of scholarships and bursaries for entry into our Year 11 HSC programs.

Scholarships and Bursaries are open to all SEDA applicants who meet the criteria.

The two Scholarships available are Merit and the Kickstart Award.

As a Scholarship student, in addition to completing senior secondary education with the College, all will have the opportunity to undertake high-quality personal development in the College’s ‘Leadership and Mentoring Program.’

This development will be accessible in a supportive learning environment that enables all to build up a portfolio of work and academic skills, through hands-on learning, linked strongly to the sports and recreation industry. Further, all will have significant opportunities to develop networks, and unique experiences and create a planned, personalised and suitable pathway to employment and/or higher education.

Merit Scholarships

SEDA College NSW Merit Scholarships support outstanding all-rounders.

Our Merit Scholarships provide partial fee relief ($4,000 value per year) for up to 3 students to study at the College. The scholarship is awarded for each of a student’s two years of study at the College (total value $8,000).

More information is available in the SEDA College NSW Merit Scholarship Information Sheet

Recipients of a SEDA College Merit Scholarship will be exceptional young people who have the potential to make a significant positive contribution to the College and act as an ambassador to the wider community.

Successful applicants don’t need to be straight-A students or elite sportspeople, but will be able to demonstrate their commitment to the College’s core values through a history of sporting involvement, community volunteering and academic accomplishments.

To apply, please follow the instructions in the application form.
