SEDA College Programs
Who is SEDA College
SEDA College is an independent school based in Sydney, which commenced delivery of the High School Certificate (HSC) in 2016.
SEDA College Council have a unique partnership with SEDA Group, which allows SEDA College to deliver the SEDA model and curriculum. This gives access to industry partnerships with renowned associations including Cricket Australia, Cricket New South Wales, Sydney FC and South Sydney Rabbitohs.
The model is renowned for success in engaging, educating and empowering young people in states and territories including Western Australia, Victoria and the Northern Territory.
We aim to develop students in an engaging and caring environment which will lead to lifelong learning, which fosters the holistic growth of each young person.
The curriculum uses an applied learning pedagogy, which involves hands-on learning both inside and outside the classroom. This kinaesthetic approach gives our students a deeper connection to their learnings and results in higher engagement with the syllabus. The approach works particularly well with those who already have an aptitude in sport.
Students undertake a placement within the industry and a community development project which enables them to become more independent.
We promote strong relationships between students and staff, with a ‘one teacher, one classroom’ model. At this crucial stage in personal development the teacher works closer to students to help them progress in their chosen path.
By exposing our students to a wide range of learning, our vision is to produce well rounded young adults who will make a difference on the sports stages, both locally and on a global scale.

SEDA College utilises sport to engage young people with learning. SEDA College believes that an applied learning environment, which sees young people engaged in hands-on learning in the community and in the industry, is the most applicable way to learn 21st Century skills including resilience, leadership and communication.
SEDA College promotes a learning for life approach to education. We believe a balanced education allows young people to explore their career interests alongside their sport, community, personal and creative interests.
